DRAKE SYMPHONY TO PERFORM “NUTCRACKER” SELECTIONS DEC. 6

The Drake Symphony Orchestra, John Canarina conducting, will perform excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s perennial favorite “The Nutcracker” during its concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6., on the Jordan Stage in Sheslow Auditorium in Old Main, 25th Street and University Avenue.

The program also includes “Job” (A Masque for Dancing) by 20th century English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams. This work was inspired by William Blake’s illustrations for the Book of Job.
