Cowles Library

Cowles Library offers a wide variety of services for the development of members of the Drake community in their roles as scholars, teachers, and learners.

Through a network of in-house, subject-area liaisons, library faculty work directly with departments, faculty, and staff to assist in research, information literacy, and teaching development. Cowles Library also houses formal and informal study, meeting, and collaboration spaces. Additionally, the Library provides regularly updated online video tutorials that are useful in classes and for harnessing the capabilities of available tools, such as our information discovery products and Learning Express, which provides applications to master everything from résumés to GRE preparation.
