Drake Research Grants

Drake Research Grants (DRG) offer up to $3,000 per project to underwrite the direct cost of faculty conducting advanced research or creative activity. These grants may be used to pay for such expenses as:

  • Travel (to visit archives, conduct interviews and observations, to create artworks or performance pieces, etc.)
  • Materials (including laboratory animals, equipment, data sets, software, etc.)
  • Services (including research subjects, indexing, recording and production, transcription)
  • Student research assistants

Full-time faculty on continuing appointment

Up to $30,000 in DRGs will be awarded for fiscal year 2014–2015.

Applications are due early in spring semester.
