Dr. Greg Lengel

Assistant Professor of Psychology

Dr. Lengel earned his B.S. in Psychology from Olivet Nazarene University and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Oklahoma State University. He completed his APA-accredited clinical internship at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital, where he received specialized training in evidence-based interventions for self-injury and eating disorders. Dr. Lengel currently teaches courses in clinical psychology, psychopathology, and introductory psychology.

His program of research primarily explores the application of dimensional trait models to personality pathology and maladaptive behaviors (e.g., nonsuicidal self-injury). He is also interested in examining the utility of personality traits in clinical assessement and treatment.

Drake senior Morayo Adeyoju, a native of the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria, shares his cultural history as part of an art exhibition on display through Oct. 22 in The Anderson Gallery. Adeyoju's grandfather was a king of the Yoruba tribe.
