Office Location: 426 Olin Hall

B.A., Beaver College (now Arcadia University), Glenside, PA, 1999, Ph.D. University of Delaware, Newark, DE, 2008.

Dr. Brown’s research focuses on developmental changes underlying learning and memory.  He is particularly interested in identifying developmental changes in the brain responsible for the rapid forgetting of memories formed early in life, a phenomenon commonly referred to as “infantile amnesia”.  His long-term plans involve application of a variety of behavioral neuroscience techniques in order to better understand how memories are formed, stored, and retrieved across the lifespan.
