Blue light and security phones that connect directly to DPS are located inside buildings and in heavily traveled outdoor locations across campus. You also are encouraged to call DPS from the residence halls and campus offices whenever you observe something that concerns you.

Keeping your campus home safe

All residence hall doors are locked 24/7. If you or a guest enters any residence hall — even your own — after 11 p.m., you must present identification.

Any guest must be accompanied at all times by a hall resident. To be admitted to other campus buildings after business hours, you may also be required to show your ID to a monitor — not to hassle you, but to protect your safety.
