Welcome to Residence Life at Drake University. The Office of Residence Life (ORL) is committed to empowering students in their personal growth and development while providing them with support and opportunities for involvement.

The overriding goal of ORL is to align the residence education structure with that of the University to provide an intentional, progressive, and dynamic student experience.

Inclusive Housing

Residence Life is committed to providing comfortable, welcoming, and safe housing options for all students, including those identifying as LGBTQIA+. We encourage and welcome those who identify as transgender to work with Residence Life in order to find the most reasonable and comfortable housing, regardless of the identifying gender of prospective roommates.

Find resources and information on what constitutes sexual and interpersonal violence, what to do if you think you are a victim, and how to report at www.drake.edu/titleix. You can also get involved in prevention and intervention programs and strategies by contacting prevention@drake.edu.

Please fill out the form in its entirety. Be as specific as possible, including information such as; witnesses, victims, accused, date and time, location, time line of events, and supporting documentation/evidence. If you require assistance completing this form, stop by the Dean of Students Office, located on the second floor of Old Main.
