Linda C. Evans is a long-time, part-time faculty member at Drake having been with the University as a lecturer since 1997. She received her B.A. in management at the University of Northern Iowa, her M.B.A. from Drake, and her Ph.D. in sociology from Iowa State University. She teaches the introductory Survey of Sociology classes each semester. Her interests are wide ranging based on a general love of all things sociological.

Outside of Drake, Dr. Evans has had a variety of business, research and consulting experience and she served as the Executive Assistant for the Midwest Sociological Society for six years. In her "spare" time, she is a farmer.
