COMPLETE WITHDRAWAL FROM DRAKE UNIVERSITY

We realize that sometimes it becomes necessary for a student to withdraw completely  from all classes during a semester.

Q.  What constitutes a "complete withdrawal?"

A.  Anytime you drop ALL of your classes for a term, even if you are only in one class, that constitutes a complete withdrawal.

Q.  How do I do a complete withdrawal?

A.  To facilitate the withdrawal process, we have an on-line withdrawal form available on MYDUSIS.  You will need to enter the secure area and click on the Student Records link and activate the WITHDRAWAL FORM link.

This automated form will a) request that your college/school office withdraw you from your classes,  b) notify Student Financial Planning, c) notify Student Housing if needed, d) notify Student Accounts, e) notify other "need-to-know" offices (international, athletics, etc.)

Representatives from your college/school may contact you to discuss your withdrawal.  They will want to know your reasons for withdrawal and your future plans and if you plan on returning  to Drake University.
