Ceremony Notes for Law Students

We are pleased that you plan to participate in the Law School Commencement Ceremony. Below are details and instructions you will need to help you prepare for this important occasion. If you need additional information, your attendance plans have changed, or you have further questions, please call the Law School Dean's Office at (515) 271-2057.


Law Ceremony (7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17th) notes:

  • Graduates must be dressed and ready to line up no later than 6:00 p.m. at the Law School. The processional begins at 6:45 p.m. The Knapp Center is open for guests at 6:00 p.m.
  • A reception will follow at Kern Commons in Cartwright Hall.
  • More information will be given to each student through the Law School. Questions should be directed to the Law School Dean's Office or call (515) 271-2057.
