Meal Plan Conversions

Students on the 335- and 195- block meal plans can convert up to 100 meals this fall semester to flex dollars. Fall semester conversion dates are as follows:

September 18, 2017 starting at 8:00 am - September 29, 2017 by 4:00 pm
October 23, 2017 starting at 8:00 am - October 27, 2017 by 4:00 pm

To convert meals, you can stop at the Student Services Center during these conversion periods and fill out a form to indicate how many meals (maximum of 100 meals per semester) you would like to convert.

Specific questions regarding meal plan management can go to the Residence Life Department (housing@drake.edu). 

Meal Plan Options 

335-Block Meal Plan

335 meals per semester at Hubbell Dining Hall and Quad Creek Café
195-Block Meal Plan + $300 Flex Dollars

195 meals per semester at Hubbell Dining Hall and Quad Creek Café plus $300 flex per semester to spend at any of our campus dining locations

14-Meal Plan

Any 14 meals per week at Hubbell Dining Hall and Quad Creek Café, plus $100 flex per semester to spend at any of our campus dining locations

10-Meal Plan

Any 10 meals per week at Hubbell Dining Hall and Quad Creek Café, plus $275 flex to spend at any of our campus dining locations

125-Block Meal Plan (Commuter ONLY)

125 meals per semester plus $125 flex per semester

75-Block Meal Plan (Commuter ONLY) 75 meals per semester plus $75 flex per semester

How do I sign up?

If you would like to sign up for or change a meal plan, start by visiting the StarRez Housing and Meal Plan Portal.  From here, you can sign up for a new COMMUTER meal plan, or change an existing meal plan by clicking "Apply Here" at the top of the screen (online option to change meal plans may close as the start of a semester approaches - changes are only allowed until the first Thursday of classes).

Drake senior Morayo Adeyoju, a native of the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria, shares his cultural history as part of an art exhibition on display through Oct. 22 in The Anderson Gallery. Adeyoju's grandfather was a king of the Yoruba tribe.
