All students traveling internationally on a Drake approved program must apply online through the Drake International center. Students must also be approved by Drake University in order to receive academic credit, and to be able to use Drake scholarships and financial aid towards an education abroad experience.
Students traveling abroad for a semester or academic year are required to set-up an appointment with Drake's Education Abroad Advisor before they can be approved for an education abroad program. The Education Abroad Advisor can review program options for your major, and personal and professional goals. They also review the application process, financial aid, scholarships, credit transfer, and more.
Be aware that the application is a two-step process for semester and academic year programs. You must first apply and be approved for an education abroad experience by Drake University. Then you must also apply and be approved by the Partner Program.
