International Exchanges

Drake has exchange relationships with a variety of foreign universities.  These relationships allow you the opportunity to directly enroll in a partner university while paying Drake tuition and receiving Drake financial aid.

You will live and study as students from that country normally would.  Housing varies by location and is not covered by the exchange, but the cost of room and board is included in your financial aid calculations.  Costs of your program (Drake tuition plus estimated room, board, airfare, visa, books, local transportation and personal expenses) will be used to calculate your aid package.

Since classes are taught in the language of the host country, you must have intermediate or advanced proficiency in the language of instruction.

The number of students accepted for any exchange may be limited in order to maintain balance between participating schools.  Therefore, early applications are encouraged.
