Anna Horvath is the only teacher in the state of Iowa to be certified and registered with the Royal Academy of Dance. Through three years of post graduate schooling through London, Anna Horvath learned how to safely and passionately teach students of all ages. Anna became certified in Stott Pilates, which gave her a background in kinesiology to ensure that students build a strong core and correct posture which is needed throughout dance, especially in preparation for pointe work.A graduate of Drake University, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Anna has studied with Ballet Iowa, Vine Street Ballet, BalletMet of Columbus and under such teachers as Susan Snider, April Berry, and Yoko Ichino. In 2011 she trained in London with The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing specializing in Tap and Modern Theatre Jazz. She received her gymnastics instruction from Coach Robert Stugard and enjoyed competing on all four events, even competing in the Junior Olympics as a teenager. Anna was the first in Iowa to receive her international certification from AcrobaticArts, which allows her to safely and effectively teach students from beginner to the pre-professional level.  She has choreographed for Simpson College, Drake University, Drake Opera, Iowa Dance Theatre, Capitol City Baptist Church, Principle Dance Corps, the Royal Ballet of Iowa and more.
