Drake Faculty and Staff Reports

According to Drake University’s Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct Policy, all Drake faculty and staff who are not exempted (i.e., Student Counseling and Student Health staff) as confidential must report incidents of sexual and interpersonal misconduct to the Title IX Coordinator. To report these types of misconduct, you may notify the Title IX Coordinator in person, through email, or through an online report. Upon receiving a report, the Title IX Coordinator will evaluate the information received and determine what further actions should be taken. For example, the Title IX Coordinator will take steps, either directly with the complainant or through a reporting employee, to provide information about the University's policies as well as available health and advocacy resources and options for criminal reporting. You should always inform the complainant that you carry this obligation to notify the University but also share the options of confidential reporting.
