Drake Faculty and Staff Reports

According to Drake University‚Äôs Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct Policy, all Drake faculty and staff who are not exempted (i.e., Student Counseling and Student Health staff) as confidential must notify the Title IX Coordinator if they learn of sexual and interpersonal misconduct happening to a student.  To share these types of misconduct, you may notify the Title IX Coordinator in person, through email or phone, or through an online report. Upon receiving the information, the Title IX Coordinator will evaluate the information received and determine what further actions should be taken. For example, the Title IX Coordinator will take steps, either directly with the student or through the faculty or staff member, to provide information about the University's policies as well as available health and support resources and options for reporting.  Consider informing the student that you carry this obligation and that you are not confidential, but also share the options of confidential support found on the Title IX webpage.
