New Student Information

Move-In and Residence Hall Meetings

Students living on campus are encouraged to move into the residence halls on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, beginning at 8:00 a.m. Residence hall floor meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. that evening. This meeting will serve as your first chance to get to know your resident assistant (RA), other students on your floor, and your FYS group. You will also discuss important information about being a member of a residential community.

Commuter Student Meeting

Students not living in the residence halls will meet Wednesday, August 21, at 7:00 p.m. in the Olmsted Center. During this time you will have an opportunity to meet other students living off campus and learn about campus resources available to you. In addition to meeting other commuter students, you will connect with those students in your FYS group. You will also learn where to meet your PMAC on Thursday, August 22.

Meals

Students are on their own for meals until their meal plan goes into effect Thursday, August 22, at 11:00 a.m. Hubbell Dining Hall will be open for lunch and dinner on Wednesday and for breakfast on Thursday, on a cash payment basis until the meal plan goes into effect Thursday, August 22, at 11:00 a.m. Welcome Weekend meals will be provided for new commuter students living off campus. Commuter students must contact their PMAC to receive their meal ticket.
