Nahed Waly

Nahed Waly began working at Drake in the Fall of 2012 teaching Intermediate Arabic I and Arabic Language and Culture. Dr. Waly received her Ph.D. in Botany from Cairo University, Egypt.  She worked as an Associate Professor in Plant Taxonomy and Flora at Cairo University and King Abdul-Aziz University in Saudi Arabia.

Her research interests include medicinal plants, plant anatomy and taxonomy in addition to Arabic language and culture.
