Description

Stand Up, Speak Up: Drake Women & Leadership is a symposium designed to engage women across campus, both faculty and staff, to help them develop their own leadership skills. There are three sessions as well as a lunch panel; participants are encouraged to stay for all or part of the day as schedules permit. A complimentary lunch will be provided to registered participants.

Schedule

  • 8:30 to 10:00 AM: Forging your leadership presence

  • 10:15 to 11:45: Building your network

  • 11:45 AM to 1:15 PM: Panel - Sherry Gupta, CultureAll; Shazia Manus, CEO, The Members Group; Nancy Mwirotsi, Pi 515; Kelly Shull,IT Senior Analyst, Rain and Hail; and Julie Vande Hoef, Policy Advisor to Governor Terry Branstad.

  • 1:30 to 3:00: Moving forward: Creating a concrete action plan

As an added bonus, attendees will receive credit towards the Excellence in Learning & Development Certificate.
