The Engaged Citizen Corps is designed to encourage first-year student engagement in community service and social justice work, while integrating these issues into their academic study and coursework.
As a member, you will commit to weekly service-learning hours in the community, establish strong connections with a wide range of organizations and working professionals, gain skills for your career, meet friends with similar passions, strengthen the community, and connect your community experiences with your academic pursuits.
All members accepted into the Corps will receive, at minimum, $3,000 in scholarships and aid.
Learn more about the service and academic commitments of the program on the Engaged Citizens Corps page. For more information, please contact Amanda Martin, Assistant Director of Community Engaged Learning, at email@example.com or 515-271-2767.
