Joyce W. Njoroge, Ph.D.

Associate Professor of Accounting

Dr. Joyce Njoroge is an Associate Professor of Accounting in the School of Accounting at Drake University. She has a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree in Accounting from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, Masters of Accounting (MAcc), and Ph.D. in Accounting from Washington State University. She teaches Financial Accounting (intermediate Accounting) I and II, Introduction to Financial Accounting, and Introduction to Managerial Accounting courses. Her main research areas are institutional investors, international accounting (IFRS), and education technology. She has published in Issues in Accounting Education, Journal of Learning in Higher Education, International Journal of Web-Based Learning and Teaching Technologies, International Research Journal of Applied Finance, International Journal of Cyber Ethics in Education, Financial Decisions Journal, and The Accounting Educators’ Journal. She is a member of American Accounting Association (AAA).
