College Positive Volunteers

Drake University believes that college is attainable for all. The College Positive Volunteer (CPV) program aims to build a college-going culture in every interaction between Drake student volunteers and local youth. College Positive Volunteers are resources to local youth when it comes to preparing for enrolling in college. CPVs do not ask "Are you going to college?" They ask "Where are you going to college, and how can I help you get there?"

Make a huge difference in the lives of local youth by volunteering to be a College Positive Volunteer. As a College Positive Volunteer, you could do any number of things ranging from mentoring youth at a local school or non-profit to serving on a panel when young students come to visit Drake. Sign up to learn more. Several trainings will be offered this Fall and Spring - please join us as we start this important initiative!
