Drake University is accepting applications from non-profit organizations to host an Engaged Citizen Corps student for the 2019-2020 academic year. Students are supported academically through the classroom, tying their service work with you into 11 credits.
Engaged Citizen Corps students serve 8-10 hours a week throughout the academic year (300 hours total), are expected to work on projects that help organizations build capacity.

Partner agencies also have the opportunity to participate in professional development and networking opportunities with other community agencies.

How to get your agency involved:
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all slots are filled. Agencies that express interest by March 27 will receive priority. We expect to make all decisions no later than May 1, 2019.
The cost share for sites is $1,750 - an estimated value of $6,900 in human resources - which helps support student scholarships.
