There are a number of trainings and conferences surrounding topics of community engagement, service learning, and social justice.
Iowa Campus Voting Summit (Virtual) - Friday, Sept. 25, 12-4pm. A nonpartisan student voter engagement summit to help campuses prepare for student voting this fall and beyond. This event aims to solidify campus efforts to get their faculty, staff, administration, and students out to vote for the 2020 General Election and the future elections. Free and open to students, faculty, and staff.
Virtual College Leadership Summit, presented by Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, is a free two-day summit to engage college students in critical reflection on the topics of social justice, human rights, and inclusion, Nov. 6-7.
Civic Action Academy - This year's Civic Action Academy will be held virtually on Nov. 13 from 12-5pm. Join other college students from across the Midwest in learning new ways of making a difference and building skills through civic and community engagement.
IMPACT Conference - The IMPACT Conference is historically the largest annual conference focused on the civic engagement of college students in community service, service-learning, community-based research, advocacy, and other forms of social action. This year's IMPACT Conference will be held virtually- more information to come!
