Community Organizing and Activism - Jan. 19, 4-5pm
In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, hear from local professionals who have made a career out of community organizing and activism. Current confirmed panelists include: Joshua Barr, Director of the Des Moines Civil and Human Rights Commission, David Stone, Advocacy Officer with United Way of Central Iowa, and Courtney Dufford, Lead Organizer for AMOS (A Mid-Iowa Organizing Strategy)

Community Engaged Learning & Research - Feb. 23, 4-5pm
Confirmed panelists include: Lyndi Buckingham-Schutt, Associate Director of Wellness and Nutrition Policy at the Harking Institute; Renee Sedlacek Lee, Director of Community Engaged Learning at Drake University; and Justin Ellis, Interim Director of Iowa/Minnesota Campus Compact. 

National Service Programs - March 9, 4-5pm
In celebration of AmeriCorps Week, hear from current and past members of AmeriCorps along with staff members to learn how you can get involved. 

Direct Service - April 6, 4-5pm
Ever wondered how to make a career of direct service? Whether it's through full-time service, being a volunteer coordinator and engaging volunteers as your job, or using your skills to benefit a non-profit, there are many ways to do so.
