Working Remotely

Effective August 1, 2021, campus returned to normal operations.

This means University offices are expected to be fully staffed and operational. The expectation is that employees work from their normal campus locations. Managers maintain the authority to determine schedules and staffing for their department based on operational need. It is up to managers to communicate with employees directly about the decisions made for their departments. Manager discretion includes the authority to determine whether remote work arrangements may still make sense for certain employees, whether on a full-time or part-time basis. While a task force continues to consider recommendations for new policies, the current policies remain in effect, including the existing Telecommuting Policy.
