Title IX FAQ's

Drake remains committed to ensuring that all members of its community have full and timely access to Title IX support services and resources. In furtherance of that mission, the Title IX Office will be providing remote access to all of its services for any and all members of the Drake community. As part of its commitment to equity, inclusion, and diversity and to further its goal of creating an educational environment free from gender discrimination and harassment in any form, the Title IX Office will utilize remote technologies to continue to:

• Consult with individuals about campus and community resources available to those experiencing situations that they believe may involve elements of sexual or interpersonal misconduct, such as sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, dating/domestic violence, or stalking
• Conduct remote trainings as requested for groups and organizations across campus and in the community
• Receive reports of sexual and interpersonal misconduct involving potential violations of Drake’s Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct Policy
• Coordinate the formal investigation and timely adjudication of Title IX complaints in accordance with Drake University policies
• Provide additional support services and resources as required to satisfy its mission of promoting gender equity and diversity and inclusion at Drake University
