Drake University’s policies and protocols regarding COVID-19 are focused on the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, and the public with whom we interact. This guide is intended to assist visitors when visiting campus.
Minimizing the risk of COVID-19 infections is a shared responsibility. Although Drake is taking appropriate steps in accordance with established guidelines, the risk of contracting COVID-19 cannot be eliminated.
The University’s plans follow recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Iowa Department of Public Health, and Polk County Health. Knowledge and understanding of the COVID-19 virus continue to evolve, as will our policies and plans. This website is the University’s central source of updates and information regarding COVID-19.
When visiting campus, please adhere to our policies and protocols.
Guided tours of campus are currently available for prospective students and their families. Please see our admission visitor page to learn more about our in-person options.
Refer to the University’s online calendar. If you are interested in scheduling an event on campus in the future, please contact the Office of Conference and Event Services to discuss your needs and our current restrictions.
