Danielle Green, LMSW, MSW, CADC


Danielle has worked in behavioral health since 2011. She completed her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice at Grand View University and received her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Northern Iowa. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (MSW) and certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC). She is trained in EMDR and specializes in Trauma Informed Care. When Danielle works with students, she practices from a strengths-based perspective, using am eclectic approach of CBT, DBT, mindfulness, self-compassion, and parts work, while focusing on being culturally humble. Danielle is passionate about incorporating the whole person in therapy, so will often discuss wellness and balance to support mental health. Danielle has experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, stress management, adjustment challenges, and grief. In her free time Danielle enjoys being outside, hot yoga, spending time with her husband, son, and fur babies, cooking, and hanging out at coffee shops. 

Karla Mracek, LMSW


Karla has been a mental health therapist since 2016.
She completed her graduate degree in social work at Loyola University Chicago. Karla received her undergraduate degree in dietetics from Iowa State University and practiced as a Registered Dietitian for five years prior to becoming a therapist. She is now a licensed independent social worker (LISW) and practices from a trauma-sensitive framework. Karla has been trained in EMDR. She utilizes a strengths-based approach while also incorporating attachment and humanistic theory and mindfulness techniques. Karla views mental health through a mind-body-spirit lens and brings this into her work with students in order to promote holistic well-being. In her free time, Karla enjoys yoga and working out, traveling, live music, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.


Amber Wilkins, LMSW


Amber has been a social worker in the Des Moines area since 2008.  She worked as a medical social worker for 10 years and began practicing therapy in 2017.  She received her undergraduate degree in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Iowa and received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver. Amber is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a certification in Trauma Response and Recovery and is trained in EMDR.  She has experience in treating all ages with a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, grief & loss, trauma, stress management,
and challenges within interpersonal relationships. 
Amber's preferred therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Solution-Focused therapy while using motivational interviewing techniques and a strengths based approach.
She is passionate about working with students to assist them in incorporating balance in their lives and seeing the positive impact that focusing on their well-being has had.  In Amber's free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, crafting and decorating.
