Background:

Dr. Odorzynski currently leads operations for firsthand, a value-based healthcare company focused on engaging individuals with serious mental illness. Before firsthand, Dr. Odorzynski worked for Genoa Healthcare, starting as a Pharmacy Manager in 2006 and working her way up through training, sales, and marketing until she served as the Senior Vice President of Complex Care Pharmacy. Melissa received several awards while at Genoa Healthcare Company including the President's Club Leadership Award in 2015 and the Healthcare Circle of Excellence (Blue Jacket) in 2018, which is the company's highest honor. At Genoa, she was also a participant in the PhD Leadership Development Program in 2018 and then served as a mentor in the program. She was also a 2017 M&A Emerging Leaders Award recipient, which celebrates the industry leaders in mergers and acquisitions, financing and restructuring, who have reached a significant level of success in the industry before the age of 40.
