S.T.A.R.T. for Students Who Identify as White (RESCHEDULED!)

Those of us who have been racialized and socialized as white have a role to play in active anti-racism and growing our abilities to be in solidarity with communities of color. That specific journey is part of our shared, multi-racial commitment to continually becoming a campus committed to ensuring we all experience belonging—but it looks different (because of our racial experiences) than the journey students of color may take.

Are you interested in growing your anti-racism skills, exploring how racial identity development (drawing on the work of Dr. Janet Helms and Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum) has shaped your experience, and strengthen our collective commitment to racial justice?

Please join me on

Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 4 to 5 p.m. in Medbury Hall, Room 220, to talk about a spring semester series of educational and activist dialogues for those of us who unjustly benefit from white privilege and want to do more to stand against racism together. Sign up.
