College of Arts & Sciences

Earn your master’s degree at Des Moines’ premiere University. The field of Applied Behavior Analysis provides the tools necessary to assess what motivates individuals.  A degree in this field prepares you for a career working with children and adults with autism, treating challenging behavior, or assisting various populations where systematic change and improved behavior are desired outcomes. 

College of Business & Public Administration

Choose the Master of Accounting (MAcc), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or Master of Public Administration(MPA) (offered in Des Moines and Ames). You can study full-time or complete your entire degree part-time through evening and weekend study in as little as two years. Our new Online MBA and Online MPA provide even more flexibility for working professionals. Non-credit professional programming for business, government and nonprofit organizations is offered by the Center for Professional Studies

School of Education

Programs in the School of Education are designed to meet the needs of teachers looking to advance their careers, business persons looking to expand their leadership, or professionals seeking to transition into the field of education. Explore more than a dozen master’s and doctoral degree options in the field of Educational Leadership K-12), Organizational Leadership, and Talent Development, or Teaching and Learning. Our new online Master of Science in Education program even combines a Drake education with the convenience of online learning.

School of Journalism & Mass Communication

Given the success of our on-campus Master of Communication Leadership program, where alums have reported increased salaries of more than 50% after graduation, we are excited to announce our new 100% online Master of Arts in Communication degree program to bring this valuable learning to students around the globe. Four specialized tracks are available to help students reach their career goals: Brand Communication, Communication Leadership, Health & Science Communication, and Public Affairs & Advocacy.

Law School

College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences

The health care field is a rapidly growing and evolving industry with ample opportunity for meaningful, and long-lasting careers. At Drake, you’ll find doctoral and master’s programs aimed at preparing you for a versatile career in three different health care fields.

As a student in Drake's four-year Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program, you’ll gain knowledge and experience needed for a successful career within pharmacy, including community pharmacy practice, institutional pharmacy practice, postgraduate education, and many other opportunities. In pharmacy at Drake, you can choose from a wide range of curricular options that allow you great latitude in directing your professional career.

Drake’s three-year, year-round Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program is your path to a meaningful career focused on improving the lives of others through holistic health care. As a Drake graduate, you will be recognized for your commitment to advancing your practice, supporting your community, and advocating for your patients and profession.

In the two-year Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program you’ll gain knowledge and experience needed for a successful career within AT, including individual and team athletics, clinical practice, hospital-based practice, school-based practice, occupational health, and many other opportunities.
