Counseling Services

It is important to stay healthy mentally, just as it is physically, so that you can fully benefit from your Drake experience. Sometimes feelings of stress, anxiety, depression, or other issues can interfere with your mental health and even the completion of daily tasks.

At Drake University’s Counseling Center you’ll find competent and caring staff who will provide you with practical help and treatment while encouraging your personal growth and development. Regardless of the reason you seek counseling, you’ll find understanding, acceptance, and support for your emotional well-being.

Depending on your need, the center provides, individual, couple, family, or group counseling, and is also available for workshops, training, psychological testing, and referral information—all at no cost to you.
