Dr. Enes Akbuga received his Ph.D. degree from Texas State University in Mathematics Education and a B.A. degree in Mathematics Education with a focus on middle school teaching from Hacettepe University in Turkey.

Previously, he worked at the University of Michigan for his postdoctoral training at the School of Education, focusing on high school mathematics teaching.

Dr. Akbuga has taught several undergraduate mathematics courses including Algebra, Calculus sequence courses and Education courses while at Texas State University. Also, during his undergraduate studies, he worked as a middle school mathematics teacher in Turkey.
