Drake’s M.B.A. program allows you to customize your degree based on your personal interests.
While working with faculty members to develop leadership skills in courses focused on expanding your business acumen, your adviser will assist you in choosing elective courses and an area of specialization to help you realize your career goals. The 39 credit-hour M.B.A. program consists of 27 credit-hours of required courses, nine elective credit-hours in an area of specialization and three credit-hours of professional development seminars.
Students complete three one credit-hour professional development seminars.
This international management course will explore Innovation Around the World. We will investigate innovative management practices in our own region and then travel to Europe (e.g. London, Berlin, etc.) to compare the impact of local institutions and culture on innovation abroad. We will explore innovative organizations in all industries with a particular emphasis on technology and financial services. We will depart Des Moines on the evening of May 4th and return on the morning of May 12th, just before 2017 Spring Graduation. Professors Matthew Mitchell and Carl Vieregger have lived and worked in England and Germany and are very excited to return to explore the most current innovative practices in that region!
