Admission with Conditions

Admission with Conditions allows individuals to be reviewed for admission and begin graduate studies with a conditional requirement that must be completed successfully to progress in the program.

To be eligible for admission to the MPA program, candidates typically have a 3.0 or higher GPA in the final 60 hours of undergraduate coursework. Promising candidates who do not meet this requirement may be granted Admission with Conditions, allowing part-time enrollment in up to nine credit hours of graduate courses.

Individuals who successfully achieve strong academic performance within those nine credit hours of enrollment will move into full graduate standing. Strong academic performance includes receiving a grade of B or higher in all courses.  Students will be reviewed at the end of each full semester to confirm the conditions of their admission have been met. The review will take place if a minimum of six credit hours has been completed.

Admission with Conditions is not available to international applicants.

International Students

International students will require additional documents for admissions.
