  • If you have already filed a 2020-2021 FAFSA, be sure that Drake University is listed as a school to receive your FAFSA information.
  • If you have already completed the 2020-2021 FAFSA with Drake University listed and have not received a Drake Financial Aid Offer or an Actions Requested Letter, contact the Office of Student Financial Planning. 
  • If you plan to attend summer 2020, fall 2020, and/or spring 2021, you may complete the 2020-2021 FAFSA beginning October 1. The 2020-2021 FAFSA will be completed with 2018 tax information.
  • If you received an Actions Request Letter from Drake for additional information, please respond as quickly as possible.
  • If you have not filed a FAFSA, complete the FAFSA at


  • Keep your address, telephone number, etc. updated in MyDUSIS.
  • Remember to have all transcripts forwarded to the Office of Admission as soon as possible.  Credit evaluation is important in determining your federal student loan eligibility.

The Office of Student Financial Planning is in Carnegie Hall, directly north of Cole Hall (Admissions Office). You can schedule an appointment or walk-ins are always welcome.  Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
