Careers in Social Change

Your students can learn how local professionals use their careers to create positive change, and how they can too, with the Careers in Social Change Virtual Panel Series this Fall. The panels will follow the Pathways for Civic Action and Social Change, which are various strategies needed to create change, such as Community Engaged Learning & Research, Social Entrepreneurship & Corporate Social Responsibility, and Philanthropy. The panelists will share about their educational and career backgrounds and provide advice for college students. The panels are typically the second Tuesday of the month, and will all be held via Zoom.  Students can register for these panels on Handshake. Sponsored by the Office of Community Engaged Learning and Professional and Career Development Services.

Students are also encouraged to take the Pathways for Civic Action & Social Change survey to learn about their preferred strategy for creating change. Staff in the Office of Community Engaged Learning are available to meet with students to review their results, explore interests, and make connections to the community.
