This semester, staff in Student Life have been working diligently to create innovative ways for students leaders to get involved. Students involved in registered organizations on campus will have the opportunity to attend monthly leadership development workshops executed by the new Coordinator for Registered Student Organizations. These workshops range from learning how to lead an effective meeting to self-care strategies in preparation for busy academic times of the year.
Additionally, students involved in registered organizations can participate in a new incentive program that connects students with various offices around campus. Students who participate in events hosted by the Assistant Dean of Students, Rudy Trejo, and events hosted by the Office of Professional and Career Development Services will have the opportunity to earn rewards for their clubs and organizations!
