Began Working at Drake: Fall 2019

Education: I came to Drake in the fall of 2019 and am working towards a bachelor's degree in Clinical and Applied Health sciences. I am also attending graduate school at Drake for my Master of Athletic Training which I started in the fall of 2019.

Certifications: CPR

Why I Work in Recreation: Ever since I was young, I have been involved in various sports and activities. I have always found joy in recreational activities and knew I wanted to be a part of the department in some way. Because of my love for sports I chose to start working for intramurals, officiating and supervising the various sports we offer. Getting people active and involved is an important thing to do and the recreation services makes that happen. The positive environment and atmosphere the department has adds to the many reasons why I love working in recreation.

Hobbies: I enjoy spending time outdoors, even if it’s just hanging out on the deck with my roommates and neighbors. I love to relax and have time away from work, school, and practice, to enjoy other important parts of my life!

Favorite Teams: My favorite team is the Drake Cross Country and Track and Field team, because I’m on it! The team has recently had great success and continued improvement, putting Drake on the map, it is exciting to see and be a part of.
