Drake PR professor, students honored by Iowa PRSA

Assistant Professor Eric Kwame Adae of the Drake School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC) was named outstanding Iowa PR professional by the Iowa chapter of the Public Relations Society of America at its recent 2021 PRIME Awards. SJMC senior Justine Drake received the Milam-Bonomi scholarship and was named outstanding student member. Work by last spring’s senior public relations capstone class for Svens Skincare, an alumnus-owned startup, won an award of merit. And Drake PR junior Alexia Simonton swept the student awards category.
