Auditions for our 2020-2021 production season will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020. Any students with questions about auditions or the auditioning process can email the director of the individual shows they are interested in. Drake Choirs

The Drake Department of Music invites you to become a member of one of its excellent choirs.  The choral program provides rehearsal and performance opportunities for students with a wide variety of skill and experience levels.  Each choir is open to all Drake students, although three choirs (The Drake Choir, spēro Chamber Choir, and Borealis Treble Choir) require an audition.  The Drake University/Community Chorus is available to join without audition — simply register and come to the first in person rehearsal on Tuesday, September 1.

2020 Fall auditions will be held during the first week of classes (August 24-28) on Sheslow Hall stage.  A sign-up sheet, audition information, and a required audition excerpt will be posted on the bulletin outside Harmon Fine Arts Center Room 240 by Monday, Aug. 17.  All incoming freshman and returning singers must audition.  Please sign up for an audition!

For further information, contact Dr. Eric Barnum, Director of Choral Activities at eric.barnum@drake.edu
