The Drake University Science Collaborative Institute (DUSCI) is a community of science-minded individuals who come together from across campus and disciplines to explore issues in the sciences. As a member of DUSCI, you can learn about the research efforts of faculty, students, and experts in a wide range of fields. DUSCI supports scientific exploration in areas as varied as computer science, mathematics, psychology, astronomy, chemistry, and health sciences—and also advances knowledge in your field of interest through collaborative research projects with Drake faculty.
DUSCI also helps you get involved with the scientific community at Drake, through:
Summer fellowships and academic year undergraduate research activities that let you collaborate with Drake faculty members.
Drake Science Colloquium lecture series, which gives you a chance to learn from Drake faculty and invited external speakers.
Life After Drake lecture series, which lets you hear from successful alumni and obtain advice in different fields.
Drake University Undergraduate Conference on Undergraduate Research in the Sciences, which allows you to showcase the results of your scientific work at this annual spring event.
