Interdisciplinary Concentrations

We encourage students to explore programs of study that complement their career interests.

Interdisciplinary concentrations, degree programs combining courses across multiple academic programs, are an excellent way to explore areas that connect with or expand on career areas. Interdisciplinary programs of interest to psychology and neuroscience students include the following:

Human Resource Management concentration Catalog Requirements

Additionally the Psychology, Environmental Science and Policy, and Biology programs collaborate to offer interdisciplinary concentrations in Comparative Animal Behavior and Zoo Science and Conservation.

The Comparison Project will present the third event in its 2016–2017 series on death and dying. A community interfaith dialogue on Oct. 27 will feature representatives of three different refugee religions in Des Moines.
