Lauren Cain

Lauren Cain is a sought after performer, educator, music researcher, and collaborator. As a dedicated educator, she currently teaches at Drake University Community School of Music, as well as runs a private studio in West Des Moines. She has been teaching students of all ages and levels for nearly 15 years, and is a passionate advocate of student wellness and nurturing the next generation of musicians to be well-rounded, compassionate individuals.

As a performer and researcher, Lauren is passionate about music by composers from underrepresented composers. Lauren holds master's and bachelor's degrees in Piano Performance from Brigham Young University. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, as well as exercising, spending time in nature, and finding various ways to satisfy her creative itch.
