There are several places on the web devoted to the intersections of Law, Politics, and Society. The Law and Society Association is one good place to start, and the podcasts and blogs at Life of the Law are fascinating.

Bookmark the Supreme Court blog, and return to it often for contemporary cases; and visit the Oyez Project for digitized and audio versions of classic Court cases (and a great baseball and Court trivia game).

There are lots of great blogs written by law and society scholars, as well as news organizations with sites that deal with issues of concern and interest to LPS majors.

You'll find that each program has a similar set of perspectives - but Drake's LPS program, located as it is in the unique setting in a private, mid-sized, comprehensive university makes us distinct from the larger, state-institution programs on this list.
