The Drake Choir Singing Valentines project raises funds and friends.

Drake Choir members have delivered singing valentines to individuals at businesses, schools, restaurants, homes, hospitals, retirement communities, hospices, and even construction sites annually for many years, all in an effort to raise funds for international concert tours, which take place every other year. Our students’ efforts have conveyed the friendship, respect, and love that the purchasers of singing valentines have for their co-workers, relatives, and friends and have introduced many to the talents and joy that Drake students bring to the community.

Surprise your special someone with a Singing Valentine on Thursday, February 14, 2019!

Looking for a unique valentine greeting for friends, colleagues, or family? The Drake Choir will deliver singing valentines on Thursday, February 14. Each singing valentine is a special delivery and can be presented at work, a restaurant, a retirement center, home, or wherever you designate. (We’ve sung at construction sites, schools, offices, hospitals, and many more venues, so be creative.)

We deliver to the entire Des Moines metro, including West Des Moines, Clive, Johnston, Windsor Heights, and Urbandale all day and evening (9:00-3:00, 5:30-8:00) and 5:30-8:00 p.m. in Ankeny, Altoona, Waukee, and Norwalk.

Choose from one of our three great packages:

• True Romance - one rose and a song - $30
• Cupid’s Favorite - six roses and a song - $45
• Hopeless Romantic - a dozen roses and a song - $65
• NEW FEATURE THIS YEAR:  In addition to ordering flowers and a song, you can have Griff, Drake’s live mascot bulldog, greet your valentine. For an additional $25 you can include an appearance by Griff with your singing valentine. Griff is available during all daytime delivery hours (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). He is a certified therapy dog and loves people!

Why a singing valentine? In addition to winning brownie points with your valentine, you’ll be supporting the Drake Choir’s May 2019 international tour. No University funds are used for these tours, so your support is important and greatly appreciated.
