Put Law Into Action

At the heart of our operations are the over 300 students who are enrolled at Drake Law. To recruit a diverse, highly qualified class each year, we must be able to offer scholarships which will attract students who are being offered lucrative aid packages by other schools. Gifts in support of student scholarships can create new named funds, or supplement existing funds. In either case, you help to reduce the debt burden of our students, and maximize the career options they can pursue.

While students are the center of our mission, a law school is only as strong as the faculty who teach and the staff who supports them. Recent retirements of long-tenured faculty have created an opportunity to attract nationally regarded scholars to fill these critical positions, and to increase our full-time faculty to add cutting-edge subject areas. You can bolster this effort by creating or supporting named Faculty Research Scholars, Professorships, and Distinguished Chairs.

Drake Law is nationally recognized for our centers of excellence including the Constitutional Law Center and Agricultural Law Center, and our clinical programs. By investing in these centers and programs, we can expand our reputation while enhancing the student experience. Opportunities include naming the Constitutional Law Center, naming the Agricultural Law Center, and endowing one of our Legal Clinic programs.
