Biography

Hunter R. Clark is a graduate of Harvard Law School, J.D. 1979, and Harvard College, A.B. cum laude 1976. During law school, he wrote for the Harvard International Law Journal, and edited the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. From 1981-1986, he worked as a staff writer for TIME Magazine, writing weekly articles on world affairs and diplomatic developments. His writings on foreign direct investment and global economic development have appeared in leading journals and law reviews, including the Cornell International Law JournalMinnesota Journal of Global Trade; and The American University International Law Review. During high school, Clark served as a page in the U.S. Supreme Court. He is the author of two books: Justice Brennan: The Great Conciliator and Thurgood Marshall: Warrior at the Bar, Rebel on the Bench. Clark joined Drake University’s law faculty in 1993.
