Faculty Conference Fund

The Nelson Institute provides limited funding for Drake faculty to attend regional and national conferences that focus on global or international topics. 

The funding amount ranges widely depending upon costs and the level of faculty participation. Applications for funding are reviewed by the Nelson Institute Director and the Executive Director of Global Engagement. Applications should include:

• Name
• Department, college/school
• Title, location and dates of conference
• Conference web address
• Registration cost (if any)
• Mode of transportation to the conference 
• Brief paragraph explaining how the conference relates to the faculty member's goals and what form of participation they will engage in at the conference.
