Business/Law 3+3

Drake students can earn an undergraduate degree in business and a law degree in six years in the 3+3 Program.

Full-time study for an undergraduate degree typically takes four years and full-time study for a law degree takes an additional three years. Through Drake's Business/Law 3+3 program, students are generally able to complete both an undergraduate degree from Drake's Zimpleman College of Business and a Juris Doctorate degree from Drake University Law School in only six years.

Students will complete all major requirements during the first three years and, if accepted into Drake University Law School, will move on to be a full-time law student in the fourth year. At the end of six years, successful students will have earned both a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate, all while saving one entire year of tuition and related expenses! For most students, this can be done with no additional costs for summer school.
